Koi Tū invites you to a webinar on 5 June which will consider two recently released papers on New Zealand’s population future: People, place and prosperity – the case for a population strategy and Brain drain or business as usual? Looking past the headlines.

New Zealand needs a long-term and non-partisan population strategy to prepare for major demographic shifts, including an ageing population, declining fertility, migration flows, and uneven regional growth.

This webinar will also look at the current brain drain debate, asking whether recent migration trends represent a sudden crisis, a return to historical patterns, or a more complex story.
