Shazeaa is the General Manager Toi Tupuroa (Education, Employment, Enterprise & Collective Impact) at Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Whai Māia. Her primary focus is to support whānau to be the authors of their own journeys. She does this through developing programmes and services that drive the social aspirations of the tribe. Through establishing the Project Management Office, Shazeaa has been able to support the mobilisation and measurement of the impact of these programmes for the tribe and its future.

A current member on the Tāmaki Makaurau Regional Skills Leadership Group, Shazeaa works with other thought-leaders around the pressing education and employment issues that Auckland currently faces.

“Koi Tū is a forward-thinking space that take deep dives into what the future may look like and how we might prepare for this. It’s a thought-provoking institution that really requires you to stretch your thinking about the possibilities that will face our unborn generations. This level of thought better enables us to prepare for the future.”
