Dr Felicia Low

Senior Research Fellow

Felicia leads Koi Tū’s Knowledge Hub for Maternal and Child Health, an initiative bringing an interdisciplinary approach to maternal and child health research. She also has interests in youth wellbeing and community health.

Felicia has worked closely with Sir Peter Gluckman since 2008, with her work spanning basic research through to policy-informing evidence syntheses. She has made conceptual contributions to the fields of evolutionary medicine, developmental epigenetics, and the developmental origins of health and disease.

She is also lead/co-author of several government-commissioned reports with a public health focus. A biochemist by training, Felicia holds a PhD in Pathology from the University of Otago, Christchurch.
