Webinar recording: Another democratic future is possible – inspiration from Europe

Dr Tatjana Buklijas is Koi Tū Associate Director Academic and Director of the Europe Institute. She recently hosted a webinar with author Max Rashbrooke to discuss ideas and experiments seen across Europe aimed at reinvigorating democracy with political scientist Claudia Chwalisz and author and activist Jon Alexander.

They discussed the shortcomings of the democratic systems today in the face of new challenges, foremost climate change, and the ways in which democracy can be reimagined to respond to the problems and needs in the 21st century.
