Executive Officer, INGSA
Lara is the Executive Officer of the International Network for Government Science Advice (INGSA), housed within Koi Tū: the Centre for Informed Futures. INGSA is an open access network for individuals and organisations with interest in the theory and practice of science advice. Lara’s work revolves around the use of evidence informed policy making, and supporting the design and implementation of global initiatives that address sustainable development goals. On a daily basis, Lara is connecting people and projects in all corners of the world as she continues to build the already fast growing INGSA network and promote the use of evidence informed policy making.
Lara’s background is in business development, international trade and programme management. Her work has spanned collaborations with and within government, development agencies, and commercial enterprises from start-ups to multinationals. Lara has considerable expertise in leading programmes of work from stakeholder engagement, to developing frameworks, financial management, communications and project delivery, with specific experience in foreign direct investment, market insight, clean technology and sustainability.
