Felicia has worked closely with Sir Peter Gluckman since 2008, on both academic research and Chief Science Advisor-related activities. Her work has spanned basic research through to policy-informing evidence syntheses. She has made conceptual contributions and produced critical reviews in the fields of evolutionary medicine, developmental epigenetics, and the developmental origins of health and disease. She has also authored and co-authored government-commissioned reports with a public health focus.
At Koi Tū: the Centre for Informed Futures, Felicia is focusing on her interests in child and youth wellbeing, and taking a lead in initiatives to improve childhood developmental disadvantage.
A biochemist by training, Felicia holds a PhD in Pathology from the University of Otago, Christchurch.
