Evidence and policy: A workshop for engineers

The SciPoDS/INGSA team led a workshop on evidence and policy for a group of about 40 staff and students from the University of Auckland’s Department of Engineering.

The students belonged to the Faculty of Engineering’s Dean’s Leadership Programme, an initiative to enable a selected group of students to develop their professional skills.

Attendees heard presentations from Sir Peter Gluckman, Dr Anne Bardsley and Prof Ian Lambie (Chief Science Advisor, Ministry of Justice), and actively participated in analyses of case studies involving complex hypothetical situations.
